Production Services in Istanbul: What We Handle
A plain-language breakdown of what LSS Film takes care of for visiting productions, and where each service starts and ends.

Draft — written, needs fact-checking and LSS review before publishing.
When an international production comes to Istanbul, the creative usually travels and the city has to be solved locally. This is how we split that work, so you know what to expect from us before you send a brief.
- 01
Location scouting and management
Scouts built around your script, schedule and light, with photos, access notes and realistic travel times between sets. On the day, we manage the location and the people around it.
- 02
Filming permit coordination
We prepare and follow up applications with the relevant authorities and location owners. Requirements depend on the location and type of shoot, so we raise them in the first conversation.
- 03
Local crew and equipment coordination
Camera, lighting, grip, sound, art and production crew sourced locally, plus equipment hire, so you only travel with what you need.
- 04
Casting
Talent, models and extras, with self-tapes or castings organised to your brief and usage terms clarified up front.
- 05
Production planning and budgeting
Schedules, local cost estimates and production plans built with your producer, in the format your team works with.
- 06
Transport, accommodation and logistics
Vehicles and drivers, crew hotels chosen around the schedule, airport runs, catering and the everyday details of a unit on the move.
- 07
On-set production management
A local production lead on set to keep the day running: locations, permits on hand, crew, timing and problem-solving.
- 08
Commercial and fashion film production
Full production for brands and agencies, from concept development with your team to the final shoot day.
- 09
Post-production coordination
Edit, grade, sound and finishing coordinated with your post team or our partners, to your delivery specs.
What you get before the shoot
A clear scope, a local cost estimate, location options with practical notes, and a schedule that reflects real travel times. Questions about permissions are answered as early as possible, so they shape the plan instead of surprising it.
